Volunteering in Irvine Hospitals

I was wondering if any of you were from Irvine and have experience volunteering at the UCI Medical Center, CHOC, or Hoag Hospital. Could you tell me of your experiences there?

I just submitted my app to UCI med center for volunteering, but I wanted to know what your guys opinions were. Do they actually let volunteers do fulfilling work?

Sorry, I can't help you with the hospitals. Irvine is beautiful though.

Never volunteered there, but my mom used to work at CHOC and said it was a great environment
