I was hoping someone could give me some advice about being waitlisted. I have had five interviews in a month, from about the middle of Sept. until last week and I have been waitlisted at three programs. One said I am on hold, another that I am waitlisted and another that I am an alternate which I assume means waitlist. I was wondering what this means about my chances, especially if I am waitlisted at the other two (all out-of-state for me). Is there anything I can do, or any way that I can find out where I am or what this means for eventual admission. I have been out of school for almost a year and am working in research now.
Thanks for any advice.
