Chance me for MD/DO! I live in a very IS friendly state.
- 3.0 s/cGPA (prior to post-bacc).
**Following my post-bacc, my cGPA is still only 3.08 and sGPA 3.11 despite a 4.0 in the last 30 hours.
- Excellent ECs (LORs, clinical experience, leadership, volunteering, shadowing, etc.) No issues here thankfully.
Results of post-bacc that decided to do rather than a MS (non-SMP). Straight A's in the following courses. All 3XX+ level courses at a state school, 30 credit hours total.
- Human biology + lab
- Principles of immunology
- Biology of addiction
- Biosynthetic pathways and control of metabolism
- Physical biochemistry
- Advanced physiology
- Behavioral neuroscience
- Health communication
- Biomedical ethics
If you were me would you still consider a SMP? Or would you apply and see how it unfolds?
Thanks.
