Hi All, thank you in advance for your help! I am planning on going DO heavy but would like suggestions for any possible MD's. Would be submitting within a week from today.
Stats: cGPA: 3.55, sGPA: 3.2, MCAT: 505 (126,125,127,127).
Demographics: CA, Asian ORM
Undergrad: University of Southern California (Current Senior)
Clinical Experience: 2000 hrs Medical Assistant, 250 hrs and counting as EMT
Reserach: About 150 hours and counting, 1 poster presentation, no pubs yet
Various Shadowing about 40 hours total
Non-Clinical Volunteering: About 60 hours tutoring and teaching, over several years
Other: Around 11,000 hours of calculated Military Service, several leadership positions across campus
Honors/Awards: Several Military awards with various distinctions, a service related scholarship.
Other: I have strong LOR's from military personnel and a MD physician. I have strong family prescence in NY.
GPA is mainly A's and B's with 2 C's (first semester freshman and first semester junior year).
