Hi!
Has anyone applied to Weill Cornell in Qatar (4-year program)? If so, have you guys heard back about an interview yet?
Weill Cornell Medical College does not participate in the Early Decision program and conducts a thorough review process for each application. They receive approximately 7,000 applications for 106 positions in the entering class, with 700-750 applicants interviewed for the M.D. program each year. The college does not operate on a rolling admissions process, with most acceptances announced in March after all interviews are completed. At that time, a waitlist is also established, and offers of admission may be extended periodically to waitlisted students as spring progresses.

The evaluation of applications begins soon after an application is deemed complete, which includes the supplemental application, application fee or waiver, MCAT scores, and letters of recommendation. Due to the individual screening process and high volume of applications, it may take several months to hear back about a decision.

Applicants are advised to keep their contact information current within their AMCAS application, as email is the primary means of communication. Significant updates to the application (e.g., major awards or publications) can be sent in, and applicants are encouraged to check emails for further instructions on updates.

It's important to note that official transcripts should be sent to AMCAS by their deadline, as Weill Cornell receives official grades through AMCAS and does not require transcripts to be sent directly to them. Additional supporting materials that provide extra insight into the applicant as an individual may be submitted, but it's advised to limit these to pertinent documents.

All applicants must apply through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) by the specified deadline【11†source】.
