Wellness clinic

Hi guys!

I might have an opportunity to work as a medical assistant (yay!), at a sort of "wellness clinic." I would be working under a PM&R MD. Would adcoms look at this as sort of weird because it's not at a typical clinic or am I being neurotic lol?

Sounds like a promising opportunity I think their view of the activity would depend on the kind of clinical exposure will you be getting through this. Will you be interacting a lot with patients?

Sounds like you'll be dealing with clients, not patients.

They might be patients. Some of these clinics deal with chronic pain in a holistic manner including physical therapy, medications, injections, nutritional therapy, exercise, stem cells. etc. "Wellness" is a marketing term that, I think, sells better than some alternatives.
