I haven't taken the mcat yet but I assure you I can reach 30-35

4. University of Rochester school of medicine
5. Robert wood Johnson medical school

safety schools (these schools are mostly DO & Carib, I'd prefer not going through these routes but the overall goal for me is becoming a physician)
1. NYIT College of osteopathic medicine (NY)
2. Touro university college of osteopathic medicine (NY)

9. another DO school
10. another DO school
11. American University of Antigua
12.St. George’s university

What do you think am I aiming too high? Should I add more DO schools? According to the AMCAS GPA & MCAT Grid for African Americans I have an 89% chance of getting in somewhere 98% if my MCAT is the 35 I want. I don't need to get into my dream schools but I'd at least like to get into the schools I'd like to attend or the schools I wouldn't mind attending. any help is appreciated.

P.s
1. it's a little too late in the game for more EC's I don't have time as I'm preparing fpr MCAT and going to school full time and working.
2. 35 MCAT is the best I can do to be honest I'm a very practical person
sorry about typos

As a URM, if you get anywhere close to a 30 on the MCAT, you will have no problem being accepted into one of the schools listed. With a score of 30+, you could potentially land a top tier allopathic medical school.

Even an ivy league ?

I know someone (URM) with near-idential stats to you (maybe slightly lower) and he got into every single school he applied, including several in the top 5-10.

If you get a 32+ MCAT, I predict you will get into AT LEAST 4 of your "top 8" choices. Don't even bother applying to your safeties/Carib/DO. Waste of money.

It's definitely possible. If your research is fairly impressive and you can explain what you did and your other extracurriculars, I wouldn't be surprised. The higher the MCAT the better your chance.
