I'm current a high school senior student and I would like to know what my chances are at a accelerated dental program. I'm thinking about applying to uconn for their 7 year program.
My info:
-African American Male
-3.9 GPA UW
-1250 SAT (will take again and scores are still coming in, estimate my new score will be a little higher)
-9 AP Courses (No score ever below a 3)
-Taken 2 College Courses at Wesleyan University and got an A in both
-Varsity Tennis
-Soccer Team for 1 year
-VP of National Honor Society
-DECA state finalist in finance
-Lots of community service at soup kitchens and homeles shelter
-First in family to go to college
-Interned and shadowed for 100+ hours under supervision of a Dentist
-Planning on taking ACT and 2 SAT II's as well
I am also interested in other 7 year programs (BU, NYU, UoP) But I am looking for advice and where people think I will get in.
