Hello everyone. Didn't really want to start another "what are my chances" forum but Im becoming a bit desperate here.
Im currently in my mastre's program, basic science research, with an undergrad GPA of 3.38. Masters GPA is 4.0. Took the MCAT and its a 505: PS (126), CARS (123, terrible), BIO (130), PSY (126).
Have very strong LORs, and ECs. 1 first author publication and another publication is currently under review in PNAS (also first author).
Lots and lots of research experience, +200hrs of hospital work.

I have ~ 30 MD schools and ~10 DO schools in mind that give admission to Canadian students.
With my stats, I believe DO schools are more reasonable but just wanted to ask your opinion about my situation.

Appreciate any feedback!

You can effectively reduce most of the MD schools by eliminating the ones that matriculated < 3 internationals (e.g. Rutgers matriculated 1, UCD (0), Northstate (shudder)). Then eliminate the ones where your MCAT is closer to the 10th% than the median (UCLA). Then eliminate the mission based schools, where you don't fit the mission (Meharry, Loma Linda).

Come back with a refined list and we will be happy to edit.

Thank you so much for the help.
For the MD schools, I've reduced the number.

Michigan State university collage of human medicine
Chicago Medical school at Rosalin Franklin
Meharry College of medicine (Thought I could still fit the mission since I'm in minority)
Georgetown University school of medicine
New York medical college
Central Michigan University
State University of New York upstate
Virginia Commonwealth University
Wayne State University
Sidney Kimmel Medical College
George Washington University School of Medicine
West Virginia University School of Medicine
University of Utah School of Medicine
University of New Mexico School of Medicine (They said that out of 12 internationals applied, 2 were matriculated)
Medical College Wisconsin
Rush Medical College

University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine
Stony Brook University School of Medicine

About the schools marked in red, im not very hopeful of getting into those ones but thought would be good to apply and see how it goes? What do you recommend?

For the DO schools, my list wold be:

Midwestern - Arizona (Osteopathic)
Midwestern University Chicago (Osteopathic)

University of New England Osteopathic
Michigan State (Osteopathic)
Kansas City University
UMDNJ
Philadelphia COM

Western University (Osteopathic)
Nova southeastern
Touro
Lake Erie
Marian University

The red ones are those that I'd prefer to get into. Basically for the DO schools I'd like to get into somewhere so I can get residencies easier. I do not plan to return to Canada upon completion of the MD/DO degree.

Thank you for the help! About Rush, I wasnt so sure either. I've contacted them directly and waiting to hear back from them. In addition to this list, would recommend any other schools?

If you are Black, you should add Howard. If you are not, you should delete Meharry.
Thank you so much for the feedback! Really appreciate it

SUNY Upstate only interviewed 5/494 internationals and of the three matriculated, one was an MD/PhD. A reasonable explanation is that these were inside candidates.
I see...
Would you recommend any other university that I could add to my list?
