Because you overall GPA is pretty average, you may want to retake the GRE to get a higher score so you can be more competitive. And perhaps more volunteer/shadowing hrs.
It's going to be hard. Last year I was accepted into 3 of the 14 programs (OTCAS and Non-OTCAS prgs) that I applied into w/ very similar stats:
gpa: 3.0
pre-req: 3.6
gre: 144q, 144v
*since I did so poorly on my gre's I applied into prg's that didn't require them for admissions.
I believe what helped me... I separated my par-level educational stats from my extracurricular activities:
Patent an adjustable goniometer tool
Currently serving in the Air National Guard
Have already completed a masters degree (MBA)
Established a web development company (www.SunnyWebsite.com)
Interned at the VA hospital rehab center
Good luck!!! Try to separate yourself anyway possible from the thousandssssss of other candidates and you should be fine
