What are my chances?? OT2013

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Because you overall GPA is pretty average, you may want to retake the GRE to get a higher score so you can be more competitive. And perhaps more volunteer/shadowing hrs.

It's going to be hard. Last year I was accepted into 3 of the 14 programs (OTCAS and Non-OTCAS prgs) that I applied into w/ very similar stats:

gpa: 3.0
pre-req: 3.6
gre: 144q, 144v
*since I did so poorly on my gre's I applied into prg's that didn't require them for admissions.

I believe what helped me... I separated my par-level educational stats from my extracurricular activities:
Patent an adjustable goniometer tool
Currently serving in the Air National Guard
Have already completed a masters degree (MBA)
Established a web development company (www.SunnyWebsite.com)
Interned at the VA hospital rehab center

Good luck!!! Try to separate yourself anyway possible from the thousandssssss of other candidates and you should be fine 🙂
