What are your thoughts on ADHD and ADHD Meds?

Im planning on going into FM, so I'd appreciate some input. Preferably from doctors, but beggars can't be choosers.

1) Is ADHD a real, manageable condition?
2) What is the best way to manage it?
3) Do drugs like Adderall do more harm that good (addiction, side effects ect), especially when used for kids?
