What is MSAT at UQ?

Hey Guys,

I've been looking at the UQ site and they mention that the med students do an MSAT after year 2 and year 4. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but it seems as though the MSAT is some type of OSCE? Is it like the USMLE step 2 CS? What's the difference? Thanks for any input guys.

Hey Zuck,

You are right, the MSAT exam is like an OSCE. There are a number of stations where you do physical exams, history taking, breaking bad news, etc. I am not too sure what the USMLE step 2 exam is like so I can't comment.
