Simple question: What is the highest salary you've ever known/heard of a Pharmacist?

Don't you think we should ask for *more* than a million dollars? A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days. Virtucon alone makes over 9 billion dollars a year!

from what i heard 107K/Year in arizona for a hospital pharmacist

That sounds about right for our dean factoring in his apartment(s), vehicle and other benefits it's even more.
 
Here in Orlando,Fl Pharmacists I work with at Walgreens start out at 110K a year. That's about the average for all the major retailers in the Orlando area. If you're willing to work OT (if available), you can pull in close to 200K. I know several Pharmacists in my district that are doing so and one who made 230K last year.

Like someone mentioned above, the max is not what is important, it's the average. Unless you complete a post grad residency and are highly specialized, the vast majority of Pharm D's will make the average going rate for their demographic. I would say that hovers around 100K, give or take a little.

Does walgreens pay time and a half or is it like a differential pay i.e. hourly wage plus 3 bucks?

Time and a half. Which is why the pharmacists who don't mind logging in a ton of OT can make a lot of extra dough.

Interesting thread.. You'll see that SDN1977 had a pretty good insight.. MountainPharmD was spastic as ever and DoctorM must have been just thinking about starting his own pharmacy. Thank goodness that Zpack dood is gone tho..

I just convinced one of the pharmacists I work with to get the 50D. 7D is sweet, but with your lens lineup, I think you'd be just as happy with the 50 sans video like you said.

I've put off upgrading mine for a few months until the house is complete. :)
 
Had to clean the sensors.. 20D wasn't too hard to clean... 5D was a bitch.. I couldn't get the corners. And with the Dust Pump, sensors get nasty.. when you moving in.

They're doing foundation now. Estimate is November...but I'd probably guess December.

Kitchen's going to look awesome...it's fun to pick out the cabinets, counter, etc. :love: Expensive though....I think I put over 40K in upgrades to the kitchen alone. :eek:

Met with them last week to explain how I want to do all the pre-wiring for movie room downstairs as well as speakers all throughout main floor. I can't wait!

Can't believe I haven't gotten any on mine yet all this time. Either that vibrating dust cleaning feature works reallllllly well, or I've just been lucky. But haven't had to clean yet. No dust pump lens for me!
