I plan to graduate early, so next school year (Class of 2015, not this upcoming one), I will be applying to colleges to graduating, so I need to figure out what I want to do or at least major in.
I'm interested a lot in Healthcare and Science fields.
Here's a list of a couple jobs that I'm really considering going into.

Meteorologist
Doctor (OBGYN, Rad. Oncology, Peds/Neonatal)
Orthodontics
Genetic Counselor

If you have any pros and cons for these jobs or tips, I'd appreciate it, Thanks everyone!

It's great to look into careers but you don't have to be 100% set on a career even when you start college.

But it's best if you are 100% set! :p

Well, I'd keep on reading and interviewing.

Yes, keep looking and it seems as though all your interests are science related so that means you should look at schools with good science programs. You can explore the field and explore careers in the field.

There are many jobs I had never even heard of until I took a random class or randomly came across the profession by following my interests.

You shouldn't be worrying about specific medical specialties in high school.

I'm in medical school and I'm still not concerned about them haha.

wow, interesting posts. in response to arkangeloid, personally i wouldn't want to go that far. I'd of course have an open mind, but I'd like to have some idea of what medical specialties I think I'd enjoy the most by the time I'm in med school.

To Mesinan, all i can really say is I'd try to get in touch with some specialists of each field and shadow if possible. Definitely would give you a better idea of a day to day schedule and you could judge what you dislike/like about each of them because maybe what we view as positive may actually dissuade you somehow. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I can't really give you a full description of all those career paths without fumbling somewhere lol. Without sounding too redundant, I agree with the above posters, very useful stuff. What I do know about is genetic counseling. This is a really cool career and you need to hold a masters degree at an accredited program, and I believe there are 30 in the united states. I would really interview or shadow individuals in these fields you're interested in.

Just ask yourself what really matters in life, and try to see what best fits you.

I'm only tied between three careers which is Mechanical Engineering, Astrophysics and Medicine, and I don't think i'll go straight towards either when I graduate, I'll work for a year and then decide what is for me.

Don't rush yourself, take your time and go with the flow.

It's awesome that you have an idea of what you want to do in the future, but it's honestly not necessary at all this early in your life. College would be the perfect time to contact people that work in those fields and to take related classes. Don't rush into choosing your major just because you think it's necessary...you have PLENTY of time.

Shadow people in all of those careers and see which one you like the best
