Each year hundreds of thousands of dentists graduate from different dental schools around the world.many of them go straight to the field and start treating people and some of them select the residency or PhD. Programs and get into the academic pathes, teaching, research and being a proffesor. in both ways there are people who reach the top level, who do you think is the successful dentist?

How do you define "success"? Maybe one dentist becomes CEO of his own corporate dental chain. He makes millions. Another dentist goes into teaching. Sure he's not raking in millions, but he is incredibly passionate about teaching and is a positive influence on his students. Infact one of his students is the CEO of a dental chain. I'd argue both are successful in their own right. To say otherwise is unjust.

There are many definitions about success but I think only the financial success is measurable, imagine you are doing a research on successful dentists, you can rank dentists by money that they make and say which group of them is more successful in his/her career

"Success", like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.
