I did my research and saw that there are literally only 23 schools within the united states. I'm just wondering that it might be more difficult to get into a professional school compared to pharmacy, medicine / others.
why are there only a few OD schools in the USA?

23 schools is plenty when you consider expected graduates per year and look at anticipated job growth and saturation.
