I'm in the process of applying to a position where I will help provide care and services (i.e.: driving, buying food, helping wash..etc) for community members with special needs. I'm really wanting to work on my clinical experience during my undergraduate to have at least 2000 hours. I need a job also, killing two birds with one stone! I love working with the special needs community too. Would this position count as clinical experience?

Plus shadowing PAs of course!

if you get your cna certification the work you are doing could likely be counted as cna hrs.
it's very little training to become a cna(80 hrs or less) and many nursing homes will train you for free if you agree to work there a bit.
thank you for what you are doing for your community.
