I am in the process of applying to a CNM program and hope to start Aug 2016 and will finish late 2018/early 2019. I am curious to hear from others who have become CNMs.....Where are you practicing now? What sort of facility? What state? I'm currently in NC, and my husband and I and our four kids will relocate after graduation....we are looking at Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, and a few other potentials, but ultimately it will depend where I am hired.
I am also curious how long it took to get a position after graduation and what the hiring process was. I'm pretty nervous about starting school, but also very excited. I've been a labor nurse since 2013. Would love to hear more about what you do and whatever wisdom you have to impart.
