Hey guys,

Sorry, this is a really basic question, but it has been a while since I did chem. I'm just wondering what are the units in chem? Like cm for centimeter

So mole: n, molarity: M (mol/L), what's the unit for molality? Also, are M and m, n and N the samething? And are they anything else relating moles that we should know about?

Should've did this at the beginning, but I'm finishing up studying for chem and just had the time now😛

Hope your holidays are going well and thanks again!:)

Hi,
Molarity M= mole/L
molality m= mole of solute/Kg of solvent

n= could be the number of moles
N= normality
