MCPHS-Worcester .... is it true?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's REALLY disturbing. What does MCP rank as?

Click on the links below to learn more about MCPHS-Wor. Why there are so many negative comments about this school?😕

I'm pretty sure at least one of those lengthy statements refers to the Boston campus instead of Worcester, but I do agree with all the complaints about the therapeutics class. I don't personally agree with the other statements, but course organization definitely makes me question why I turned down acceptances to several other schools.

I read about the interview feedback from sdn and I found out the same thing about the school. I m so depressed now, can't focus and study for my interview.

The current students are likely unhappy about MCPHS. I have heard the similar complaints about it. Therapeutics is the hardest and most important part of the pharmacy program and the students have to study on their own. Thank you for posting these links.

I'm a current student at MCP and I don't mind it. There are its issues, as there are with any pharmacy school, but they are not a huge deal. I haven't take therapeutics yet, and I have heard a few complaints about that. But otherwise, I have not had a huge issue with the profs here. In my class we have several lazy students who complain about everything (especially if they have to take their own notes- god forbid :scared: ) but I have felt that the teachers are reasonable.
I have gone in to talk to some of the professors to ask questions, and they are more than glad to help when you show that you put effort into it.

just my two cents

what do you mean "take there own notes;''? Is it common in pharm school to be given notes?
I have trouble with class and notes. Is there a school more text based?

I think one of those links referred to a 20% attrition rate. I would find out if that is indeed the case or just a disgruntled student talking.

20% is shockingly high! It is their best interest to keep you in school and doing well. If that's not the case....it definitely becomes a question to ask!
