First off before I tell my story, praise the Lord, He was the one who strengthen me and gave me all the abilities to prepare for the DAT.
For all you Believers, pray and have faith in Him.
So here it goes....
I have been studying to defeat the monster for about 2 months (6-7 hours a day). I went over Kaplan 90% of the time and refered to Campbell, zumdahl, and solomon's for the sciences for the other 10%. My best advice is to focus your studies on kaplan, and when you encounter problems that you are not familiar with on achiever, topscore, or etc then you can refer to these textbooks. Also....DO NOT WORRY ABOUT SPECIFIC DETAILS! I was so worried about tiny details on g chem about raoult's law, disobeying rules of pv=nrt equations, etc etc.
So here are my scores:
AA: 24
TS: 26
Bio :23
Gchem: 28
Ochem: 28
PAT: 21
RC: 21
QR: 20
Toughest of them all I'd say Reading Comp. The answers are not verbatim (unlike topscore, kaplan, etc). I dunno how I got a 21 . The topics were finance, nervous system, ....and dunt remember haha.
Quantitative reasoning was not bad...dunno how I got a 20. I thought I did way better than that. Best way to prepare for this is kaplan I guess...AND KNOW UNIT CIRCLE!
Bio - It was not bad at all...a lot of genetics. No sea urchin or any of those weird ones. Only bone of the arm. DAT DESTROYER was really good for Bio and achiever was also on the money.
Chem - childsplay I say...way easier than topscore...kaplan's all you need.
Ochem - same as G chem. DAT DESTROYER made me DESTROY this section lol
PAT - bleh dunno wut to say...I'd say it is a lil harder than topscore. But easier than achiever. I was scoring 22-23 on topscore and 19-20 on achiever.
As for my practice scores....I was getting 21's on kaplan tests. And actually got a 14 on the first diagnostic haha ....so don't give up if youre doing bad on that.
Thanks for reading im super stoked right now and if you're in the L.A area...I am celebrating big time tomorrow so PM me if u wanna swing by! 😍
