Hello all,

I've searched for the answer, but so far have not found it! For the field I am applying for, I have attended two conferences/seminars. Would I put these under "Volunteer" or "Work" experiences? I have so far put them under Volunteer thinking that Work = paid Clinical or Teaching work.

This is what ERAS says about this issue:
"Include Clinical and Teaching experience as work experiences, include all unpaid extra-curricular activities and committees you have served on as volunteer experiences. "

So, u put them under volunteer work.
Good Luck.

seriously? you're including "conferences"? are they of any value?!

I think these must be some important conferences which the OP might have attended and contributed to.
Good Luck!

Yeah I don't think you'd normally include conferences unless you presented something or helped coordinate the activities. Then it becomes quite apparent that it is "Volunteer".
