Thought I would join the party. I am waiting and hoping with crossed fingers and toes.. I know I do not have any LOR's in yet, but I am hoping that I'll get one anyway.
this is depressing. All of my stuff is in and no interviews??
do they offer inteviews time-wise based on the strength of the applicant?

Anybody know the history of the two-digit board score? I never have a clue what the two-digit ones mean. Something to do with licensing, I think.
I guess I will be the one to start the official list.
Please list the program and if you are going to take the interview or not. If you want also list who has denied you an interview(Bastards!!!), hopefully no program will!!!!!!
Good luck guys!!!!

This is just based on my experience and "talking" to people on SDN last year....It depends on the program. Some programs will offer interviews to the whom they consider a stronger applicant first and look at the others more closely before offering interviews. What that means is really subjective. I remember getting interveiws very early and other applicants wondering what I did to get them so fast. And then others were getting interviews while my interview came very late....
Some programs, including some very good ones, will offer you an interview as long as there are no "red flags" so they can speak with you in person. some programs will basically offer you an interview as long as you have a pulse and have no glarring issues.🙄. Some programs will offer you an interview even without a pulse.

Relax. WashU is notorious for sending out invites to the top tier candidates within 24-48 hrs of receiving the completed ERAS, without LOR or Dean's letters. They are an anomaly, you may not hear anything until after the Dean's letters are released and you are still fine. My only pre-Dean's letter invites were 1) my home school and 2) WashU.

I think the OB/Gyn forum has struck gold! - http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=445867
I think we should try organizing this thread like theirs, so here goes:
Case Western: jane70, blueskies01
Emory: tennreb
Univ Maryland: blueskies01
Ohio State: blueskies01
Vanderbilt: chronicpsych14
Wash U St. Louis: chronicpsych14, blueskies01
Univ Washington: blueskies01
We should organize by date of interview because interviews are offered in waves. For example, if Wash U offers another set of interviews on 10/13, then that can be added to the list to let people know that more interviews are being offered. Organizing by who got an interview will not be very useful.
Emory: 9/7
Wash U St. Louis: 9/10
Case Western: 9/11
U Maryland: 9/12
Vanderbilt: 9/13
Ohio State: 9/13
Univ Washington: 9/13
