Hi everyone,
I'm applying for Fall 2008 at a few Caribbean schools and was invited to interview at Ross. Anyone know what the interviews are like for this school?? Is it just the typical "tell me about yourself/why do you want to be a doctor" type questions? Also, does anyone know where to find stats about number of students interviewed vs accepted? Thanks a lot.
🙂

They ask you basic questions like a) which adjectives would you use to describe yourself,b) Have you always known that you wanted to become a doctor?,c)Do you think you can handle living in Dominica, D) What specialty are you planning on going into for residency? E) Do you have any ffriends in medical school and what have they told you about their experiences in med. school F)What do you think will be the most challenging isssue the medical field will be facing in 5, 10 years? G) Where do plan on practicing medicine after residency, which states? H) What are the qualities you think a good doctor should have? I) You failed a few courses and had to retake them in undergrad, how would you prevent that from happening while in med school.

These are a few of the questions that i was asked. Do a search on this forum or valuemd to get other possible interview questions.

easier than you will ever expect. a representative from Ross conducts the interivew-not a doctor not any important. the atmosphere is chill. remain professional and rehearse answers to the major questions.
