Step 3???

Hi,
I was wondering when everyone is planning on taking Step 3? Do most people take it right after graduation or wait until the end of intern year in FM? Also, any recommendations for study materials?
I have tons of time at the close of 4th year and feel as though I should do something productive... or not 🙂

Vast majority of people will NOT take step 3 right after graduation. I think you'd have to be a little crazy to want to do that, instead of taking a chill pill after working your butt off.

Most people take step 3 somewhere in the middle/end of intern year. It's better to have a couple of rotations under your belt as an intern, because that right there is good studying for step 3, since it's a clinical exam.
