This typodont set is used to mount natural teeth for endodontic simulation.
The maxillary and mandibular arches are divided into removable magnetic quick release sextants.
The sextants are arranged on durable anodized aluminum carrier trays that fit many simulation systems.
OPTI-X - a tool included in the kit that helps orient the sextant for x-rays in a more rapid and easily repeatable way to save valuable time.

• Selection of the proper endodontic case. The student can select the proper tooth, gaining the ability to differentiate between a common case and a more difficult endo case when using natural teeth.
• Clean and shape and obturate. Use devices that are used on natural teeth.
• Take proper radiographs before and after endodontic treatment.
• Practicing straight line access, use of ultrasonic tips, use of obteration materials.
• Endodontic product demonstration purposes to prove the products accuracy of rotary files in a wet canal containing sodium hypochlorite, water, blood and local anesthetic on pulp.
