Maybe so...but your school is in West Virginia. A place where branching on a family tree occurs almost as often as WV gets to the Sugar Bowl.WVUPharm2007 said:Haha, my school beat your school in the Sugar Bowl.

WVUPharm2007 said:A Georgian calling West Virginia backwoods is worse than a pot calling a kettle black, it's like a pot calling a kettle a faulty lawnmower.
insipid1979 said:Hmmm...something tells me you don't quite grasp what the phrase "pot calling a kettle black" means.
WVUPharm2007 said:It's to show hypocracy. Like a KKK member caling a Nazi a racist. But to call a kettle a lawnmower would be like Forrest Gump calling Stephen Hawking a ******. It's worse than mere hypocracy.
Honestly, I really don't care where anyone is from. Unless it's New Jersey. Those people make me want to kill puppies. Half the town has New Jersey plates. They seem to enjoy talking on their cell phones in their parents' BMW while going 70 in a 25 and then honking at me when I start walking at a crosswalk 1/4 mile away.
Oh, and congrats on getting into Georgia. Nice folks down there, honest.
Rx_of_Music said:Thanks WVUPharm2007 no hard feelings just had to give my retort. The Sugar Bowl sore still hasn't completely healed down here yet. That first half of football was like watching the first 20 minutes of Final Destination 2 ...HORRIFING! My hat is off to WVs offence which obliterated Georgias defense, but I don't think it will happen this year without your golden boy Marcus.
Don't hate because you wern't good enough to get into the ACC.WVUPharm2007 said:Who? Marcus? Like Marcus Vick? Dude, that's Virginia Tech. Those ACC aholes can burn in hades for all eternity.
About the big play makers, Slaton (RB, 204 yards, 3 TDs rushing in the Sugar) & White (QB) were both Freshman. Schmitt (FB) and Reynaud (WR, 2 TDs in Sugar) are Sophomores. The team is stacked for years.

Don't count the Big East out yet. Louisville and WVU are legit top 10 teams, South Florida is a budding giant, and the big state schools Pitt and Syracuse will be back in time. In 5 years, I GUARANTEE you that the Big East will be better. At least y'all look REALLY REALLY good in that small pond called the Big Easy...oops I meant East
Caverject said:Go Rutgers! Those Scarlet Knights are a fearsome threat in the Big East!
By the way- football season ends in December with the exception of a few bowl games. I'm glad Rich got his troops together just in time in January!
It's funny how no one gives UConn any respect. You heard it here first...UCONN wins the Big East next year and wins the BCS bowl game.
Eh, they're ok. I was at the Sugar bowl, very gracious losers.Don't worry, I hate UGA too.

killer4605 said:if you don't mind my asking, what was your gpa and your pcat?
i'm waiting to hear from them too but i'm out of state![]()
WVUPharm2007 said:Well, I'd argue he got them together in October, but who am I?
WVUPharm2007 said:WVU could have stomped any ACC team last season in January after they got Slaton and White in the saddle.
It's in your own damn post!
Rx_of_Music said:I am a Georgia resident and my stats are as follows:
PCAT Composite 95%
Prepharmacy GPA 4.0
Overall GPA 3.96
Bachelor of Music Performance
Good luck! I hope to call you a classmate in the Fall.
Rx_of_Music said:The only thing against you is your residency status. With those stats I have to think that you will be one of the lucky out-of-state acceptances. However, I do know of one in-state applicant that scored a 98% on the PCAT and had a 3.25 GPA and was waitlisted. I think the admission averages will be even higher this year than last (PCAT 93, GPA 3.7). Just out of curiosity where are you from, and what is your major? Good luck!
killer4605 said:my mom just called. I got in.
Cya at UGA! 👍
starsweet said:I'm in too! Decisions, decisions! 🙂
starsweet said:I'm not even going to care when their letter comes!
killer4605 said:forget mercer, i need to call and cancel their interview. i can't believe how much **** they gave me.
starsweet said:What did they do, did you get the "on hold" letter too?
Oh, and by which date are we supposed to send a deposit to UGA? The letter didn't mention anything about a deposit. 😕

Rx_of_Music said:I assume that once we send in our letter accepting the position along with our schedule to finish pre-pharmacy courses (if not yet completed) then they will send the big letter with all the details on deposits and FAFSA/Financial Aid stuff. I guess they just sent letters of acceptance to speed up the process and save some trees 😀
starsweet said:That makes sense. 🙂 Where do you think you're going to live? Are there specific apartments in the area where pharmacy students live? And also, do people walk to class or drive? I might make another trip to Athens before I finally decide.
One more thing, do you know whether class notes and/or lecture audio are provided online and whether class attendance is taken?
Sorry for all the questions, just wanted to know a few more things before I make a final decision.![]()
max831 said:Just wondering if anyone who was accepted at UGA has received the admissions packet yet. I emailed my acceptance of the position on the 17th, but I have not received anything yet. Congratulations to everyone! Hope to meet you all in August.
