New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell Campus)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Poor surgical numbers though improving because they acquired a new hospital. They are probably at 100 now, but it's been 80-90 in recent years. However, they seem like they have excellent teaching with very dedicated faculty. Residents seem happy. It is in new york, very nice subsidized housing. Great fellowships. I would say the lack of surgical numbers is made up for in the quality of teaching.

anyone have any further insight into this program in terms of suggested rising surgical numbers? also, anyone who interviewed in the past know how many interviewees they have for their 3 spots? read on matchapplicants that its a rather large interview group and it also seems like most people who attend up matching here went to cornell for med school.
