I cannot give input for fellowships, but this program seemed pretty good overall. Investing in resources, good dedicated eye institute, pleasant (albeit cold) location, good interview day with a nice interview dinner. Residents seemed nice and laid back, felt well trained. Expanding faculty and can draw from Upstate NY population. Probably not ideal if you are single, but great if you are starting or planning to start a family soon.
