basically you place yourself in situations where you can meet/interact with others in your specialty. the more you do, the better off you are.


still works if you join the neuro match or use appic to find a post doc.


attend every conference you can, join a bunch of societies, etc.

oh, and some internships have post docs. those kinda are offered during the course of the internship if you demonstrate competence/goodness of fit, etc.
