These are the only five companies that offer CBT practice materials after doing some searches on the forum. Please vote and post your experience(s) with these sample tests.

TPR has a new book coming out. You get 4 TPR exams along with review material for about 80 bucks. it' not a bad bargain if you think about it. i think it comes out on april 27th but just double check at barnes or ebay.

Thanks for the heads up, buddy.

Hmm ... unbelievable low votes on Princeton Review still ... where have the TPR supporters gone to?

These are actually quite a good set of practice except that the physical sciences are super hard.

How is the Verbal section? Does it more closely reflect the AAMC practice test verbal section? I already bought the Berkeley Review CBT but heard that the verbal section for it is pretty bad...

I can't comment much on TPR's verbal. As far as this is concerned, you're better off sticking with AAMC. EK used to be known for their verbal practice, but they do not offer any of their tests on CBT. Too bad. 🙁

What about MCAT Achiever? I did the first full-length and felt that the tests are generally harder than AAMC's particularly the physical sciences.

Man please don't start this again. MCAT Achiever is unproven and unethical. I lost all respect for them when their representatives came on and gave false votes and false reviews.

I wouldn't bother,

If you throw the rigged results of MCAT Achiever out, then the results are pretty accurate in my opinion. However, do all the AAMC if you haven't taken them already.

Hope this helps,

Has anyone used the PR cracking CBT tests yet? Are they 4 tests from the 10 offered during the course?

What about Kaplan? Are the CBTs you get from the CD-ROM (the one that comes with the book at Barnes & Nobles) become part of the tests you sign up for the course?

Anyone has an answer to this, please?

Both the questions and test interface are different from the ones you would get on the course.

Thanks much. Seems like the CD-Rom from the book isn't a good simulator. There's only one question showing at any one time instead of a block of questions that you could scroll up and down like AAMC's.

Yeah, Kaplan's CBT on the CD-Rom doesn't provide you with a good testing interface. The screen is kind of small unlike the full-screen display that you would see on all other products.

wow i'm so glad to know you can see a block of questions on the real deal! the only seeing one question at a time stinks...

Exactly, and wondering why Kaplan would not feature as AAMC does.😕

I personally think princeton, berkeley, and kaplan CBTs are all exams to try to get you to really learn the concepts rather than learn how to actually learn the logic, wording, and tricks that are on the real mcat. I think GS tests help you to learn more how to take the test because i think it is tricky just as the AAMC tests are. Therefore, taking both types of practice tests are essential to doing well on the mcat. This is just my opinion.
