Alaska, do you know which ones you'll be going to? That last weekend in April and first weekend in May seem to be pretty popular. Seems like a lot of schools are trying to avoid Easter weekend...

Wow letitgo, we're practically admissions results twins at this point. Congratulations!

Aaah, difficult question. But I've been working on figuring this one out. Seeing as how I have a very flexible means of employment and it is ridiculously expensive traveling from Anchorage, I will probably be doing a massive tour, hopping from place to place. Having friends at practically every school I applied to definitely helps. If all works out, I'm hoping to swing the following:

April 10th: Vanderbilt
April 17th: Harvard Minority Weekend
April 20-23 With friends at Hopkins
April 24th: Stanford
April 28-30: Chilling in Cali
May 1st: UCSF

Hopefully, I'll meet you somewhere along the trail. Good luck with the rest of your apps!

P.S. I'm totally feeling your four principles to live by.

I got these dates for Columbia, HMS, and UPenn by calling the admissions offices (ie don't assume they started sending out admissions info and freak out! 😀). Go figure that 5 of the 6 schools I'm dreaming about have their revisits on the same 2 weekends.

Question for all those second visitors that are currently undergraduates, are the May dates conflicting with any graduations? I'm a nontrad student but my sis is graduating on May 3rd. This falls right within some second looks. Not much I can do, but I was just wondering if this was a problem for any of you.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a heads up that the Case Western 2nd look weekend is already booked full! They are now taking any further RSVPs on a first come first served basis for a waitlist. Hurry and send in your RSVP now if you still want a chance to go to their second look! I wish I had RSVP'd earlier...

Does anyone know when Dartmouth's Second Look is?

At my Rush interview, they said that they were having one, but that they haven't announced it yet.

Maybe OOS applicants got the email to get their airfare covered. Any of you in-staters get an email about Wisconsin's second look yet?

i was waitlisted at my top choice school and they sent me an invitation for going to the second look day...is this common in schools to send secondlook invitations to WL applicants? also is it absolutely necessary to go if i have a time conflict? will it help me get off the WL if i go?

Rush Medical College has planned a Second Look opportunity on Friday, April 25, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

I withdrew with a heavy heart yesterday, as I really liked everyone I met at Rush. But thought the info would be appreciated 🙂
