Isn't it normally the School Decision area that gets updated when schools are reviewing applications, inviting folks for interviews, etc?

If so, has anyone's updated? Mine shows nothing.

I'm almost positive that "school decision" tab is reserved for an actually offer, i.e. after December 1st. Looking through old posts, it looks like school decisions show up for acceptance or no offer or wait list.
 
The good ol' "There is no decision information available."
 
Then where do people see updates that say things like, "Received/Under Review," "Invited for Interview," etc? I'm confused about this.

No.

School decision tab (depending on the school) will either be updated CONSTANTLY (i.e., Case Western), updated only when under review and with an admissions decision (i.e., Roseman), only updated with admissions decisions (i.e, Creighton), only updated with interview invitations (i.e., Tufts), or simply NEVER updated (i.e., UCLA)

Shouldn't this be posted in your AADSAS FAQ Compilation? :laugh:

Yea the school decision tab is updated depending on the school. some schools update a lot, some schools don't use it at all. Last year, I applied to 16 schools and I think 10 or 11 used it. But right now I have "there is no decision information available". I think schools will start updating soon though.
 
Mine doesn't say anything either but some schools either send you an email and do not update the decision status OR send you an email and update your decision status.

Last cycle my decision tab was constantly being updated stating "Under Review" but I feel like this cycle the process is taking a little longer. I know you're in the first-batch of applicants like me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there are some updates soon 🙂
 
So I just called AADSAS and the guy I spoke to said that the School Decisions tab will not update until December 2nd. I told him that last cycle it updated constantly for some schools early in the cycle, but he said this year they are opening it on Dec. 2nd...So I guess you either have to wait for emails from schools or email schools yourself to find out your current status.

LOL!

I called yesterday was told, "The tab is open. We upload stuff when schools send it to us. So if there's nothing there, it's on the school's end, not ours."

I asked him if ANY schools had started using it at this point... and he was just like, "Uh, it's up to the schools to send us updates."

0_o

So I was kind of quiet for a second and then said, "Uh, okay, thanks!"

Yay for all of the inconsistent info from AADSAS! Gotta love it.
 
When I emailed UTHSC about it.. all they said was:

check your status of AADSAS, it should show "under review"...

NOPE.
 
Last year most just said under review. I remember Boston U had like 8 sentences that stretched the entire page. I got into NYU and they never showed up until it said offer accepted.
