Hey noy, wasn't there a Hopkins MSTP person who was applying for neurology? I think I met someone from your school who was applying to MMTP at UCSF and he was applying to neurology (or I could be wrong).
 
I dont think my list is entirely complete - I tried to cross reference the total match list we got with the list of MSTP students on the web - which means I am sure to have missed the student who graduated in 5 years or maybe the one who isnt on the web for some reason. If I get a better list I will post it...

I dont know about neurology, but I recall that of this years MD class something like 11 or 12 matched into neurosurgery... sick stuff... If I find out a better list I will put it up, but this is a good start...

I think this thread is an all-inclusive thread. Hence, the "MSTP Match List" title for the thread is kind of a misnomer. Semantics semantics semantics...

Everyone is wrong.

The match list includes folks at Illinois's program, some of which obtain terminal degrees other than a PhD.

In reality, it should be a "dual degree" match list.

I can't change the thread title either :(

Just wanted to highlight all of those losers who go into Dermatology because they want to study melanomas - har har :laugh: - just kidding.

Competitive and stressful residencies are also highlighted too - Neuro, ENT, and Ortho for example. Gas residencies, which can be termed a lifestyle residency, are not highlighted.

Based on WashU's residency website judgement of "high" to "very high" in competitiveness, particular residencies were highlighted.

andy, what's up with the annoying sig? is bringing the pain something that you found really novel & interesting. maybe going into anesthesia & thought it would be hilarious to have a big red sign? just curious because it makes me want to check the hide all sigs button. and i don't want to do that, because most are somewhat interesting.

you're funny.

actually, i put "bring the pain" on my sig because i'm not the one dishing out the pain. I'm on a tough series of rotations now in my residency program and hence I am the recipient of the pain. But I'm ready to tackle it; hence, the "bring the pain" sig.
