What are the NEW pharmacy schools?

Hi everyone,

What are the new pharmacy schools out there? I know there are Hawaii, Appalachia, Touro. Are there any other that I miss?

What's up with Uni. of Puerto Rico? I went to their website and it was all Spanish....What about Uni. of North Texas? Do they have a pharmacy program there yet?

Even though Spanish and English are both official languages in Puerto Rico, the majority of Puerto Ricans speak Spanish only.

Well actually guys the website has a link for an all english version of the same site. Log on again and look for it, its on the upper left hand corner.

i went to the homepage of Freie Universitaet Berlin and it was in german. I'm scareded.

edit: and while I am at it, i dread america becoming some goofy dual language nation. make the spanish immigrants speak english . /my two cents

Oh.. I was just wondering if they actually have a pharmacy program there and whether they accept applications. It was in Spanish so i didn't know...

510 is my b-day which is today 😛 I'm allowed to drink now... I didn't know that also represents Fremont- is it a city in California??

Sorry, I don't know of any new pharm schools other than the ones you mentioned. I heard there were going to be new schools in Texas but not sure if it's true. Check the FAQ thread.

I also heard that ASU and UofA are working together to begin a pharmacy school in Tempe, AZ. I heard that the medical school part of it is beginning in 2006.

Has anyone heard any of this too?

That sounds strange. Why would two different institutions work together for such a larger investment?

Especially when UA already knows how to start one w/o help.
