Interesting. Isn't WVSOM's class less than 100? Most people must decline their acceptance.

Class size increased starting with this year. Next year it's going to double.

It's also $$$ for out of staters.

How recent are these numbers? Thank you so much!

Just a question, but isn't that information that you are supposed to pay for by purchasing the US News online???

Yes it is. I have a subscription for it. Is it a problem to list those stats?

They are stats that can be obtained by contacting the adcoms of each of the schools, right? I don't see how that would be a problem.

According to LECOM"s orientation stats.

2700 applied, 226 matriculated. ~66% are out of staters.

It's interesting to see that WVSOM accepts 237 out-of-state students for the 30 or 40 seats available to them. That's a whole lot of accepted, out-of-state students choosing not to go there.

There is no problem with listing those stats, although you should state the source. US News does not own them.

Reprinting the entire content of the US News stats and presenting it in a similar format would constitute copyright violations.

so basically if you get an interview there, your odds are really good. interestingly enough (or not), i toured osucom last week, and everyone seemed to grimace when they discovered i wasn't an oklahoma resident. i am curious about the mcat and gpas for non-residents who are granted interviews and forgot to ask that during my visit.

Overall the mean GPA at OSUCOM is 3.62 w/ MCAT mean of 8.7.

Out-of-staters may be at the top end of that scale. I'm not sure.

What about Ohio (OUCOM) ? Thanks!
I think they didn't participate in the US News survey for some reason. So I don't have their stats. Sorry 🙂

just thought I would bump this thread since people are starting to interview, these stats are good to keep in mind!

Anyone know if the Touro stats refer to both Mare Island and Nevada combined? Or does anyone know their individual stats? Thanks!

Total number of students enrolled is listed at 135. That can't be for both schools can it?

Holy crap!!!
Had no idea my school is that competitive for out-of-state students. This makes me feel wonderful for getting in from Cali. Damn.
