can i apply with 24

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
For DO schools or if you live in a southern state with a instate med school that favors its own residents heavily, yes.

Do you like tropical weather? Or think about going the DO route? Can you wait a year and reapply after you retake the MCAT? Applying with a 24 is unadvisable unless you have really generous state schools.

Here is a friend of mine's MDAPP. He got in to 2 schools, he has similar stats, so have a good look.

He got a 24....and got in.....I don't know what to say......either he's one lucky SoB...or there's hope for some of us after all.....😱

Congrats to him..

you can apply with anything, whether you'll be accepted is something else. not knowing any other details, ill agree with the other posters that DO, instate, or carib would be your best bet.

You never know. Just apply and try your best. Nobody on here is on an admission committee.

He just didn't study for the MCAT. He could have done much better, but he wasn't interested in MD. He was DO all the way, kind of like myself. Anyway, best of luck to you!
