I think you could definately twist this into leadership if you did it as a job and it was in a group setting.

Individual tutor - no. Group tutor - I think you could spin it. I used to teach a class of 30 along with another person, and I put it as leadership on one of my Canadian applications. Not any of my one-on-one tutoring experiences, though.

No. Leadership in such a context would be serving as a supervisor for a group of tutors or teachers.

As an analogy, being a teacher is not a leadership position; being a principal is.
 
I'm sure RA and TA are considred as leadership experience but not tutor
 
i agree. then tutoring a group of people is not any more "leadership" than tutoring one person.
