Would working as a supervisor at a grocery store during freshman year count for leadership hours if I can connect the skills I learned there to medicine? Or is it better to leave it out and only focus on club leadership? Thanks!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you explicitly need "Leadership" hours. If you have a leadership role that falls under a different activity classification, as long as you very clearly call it out (i.e. I trained new volunteers) you should be good to go.

You can call something by only one tag and I'd recommend "employment". I'd also recommend mentioning your leadership responsibilities on that job and you need not tie them to medicine.... we want people who can step up to lead peers in whatever endeavors they undertake.
