Grady questions

Questions for Grady residents:

-Do you receive your salary when on international electives?
-Do you feel that you have plenty of opportunities to pursue your professional interests during residency?
-number and length of shifts?

Hey I have another question... Does anyone remember the vacation time?

International Electives: can't say I know this for sure, but I haven't heard of anyone not getting paid for a month's work

Professional Interests: plenty of time for the pursuit of professional and personal interests

Shifts: we typically work 18 shifts in an ED month, intern shifts are 10 hrs at Grady, 8 at CLH, 2nd and 3rd yrs work 8 hrs, 12 on weekends but that gives allows for 2 weekends off

Vacation: 3 wks/yr plus most get another 5 days at Christmas or New Years
