i dunno for sure, but when i checked aadsas at ~8:45 am, the status changed to offer made
 
Offer made!!!! ...but no email yet. Anyone else?

No email yet either.. but it says offer made.. ahhh!!! I think im for sure going unless UPenn is giving me money... ahhhh!!
 
got an email. it says an official packet will be mailed out within the next week!

I got the acceptance email and then the financial aid one, but my AADSAS status still says Invited for Interview... weird?? Anyone else get this??! Hope it's not a mistake, haha!!

My aadsas status changed to offer made before I got the email from Maryland, actually Dr. Meehan called and let me know to check my email... weird, maybe you should call and check
 
I got in too! 🙂 Someone should definitely make a facebook group. My AADSAS status still says 'invited for interview', but i got an email. weird.
 
I got my acceptance Tuesday right before noon. I started freaking out because I had seen on predents.com that some people were getting accepted (and I wasn’t one of them). My wife told me to calm down and check my email anyway. Well I guess I have to start making plans to move closer to Baltimore. How many of you are MD residents that got in? Does anyone know when we have to submit our 1st deposit money?

Again, GOOD JOB EVERYONE! WE DID IT!!!😀

P.S. I am looking forward to meeting all of my future DDS classmates next fall!
 
I just made a facebook group called "University of Maryland Baltimore Dental School Class of 2014" so join! So looking forward to meeting you guys!
 
I just got my offical letter in the mail today! Not looking forward to paying the $750 1st deposit though. But I guess thats not much when you look at the cost of school for the entire 4 years.
 
I found out on Dec. 15th! Wow, what a relief! Just curious, has anyone gotten a scholarship?
 
Yeah whaddup! Another Dec 15ther here. Seriously pumped when I found out. Maryland is the coolest school by far.

There are a couple of threads on here regarding this. In a nutshell, it's not as easy as most people think BUT the financial aid lady told everyone the day of the interview that she has had people get instate tuition sometimes early in their second year and other times as late as in the second semester of their 4th year.

I got an interview at MD coming up on the 27th...I'm super excited b/c This is one school that I've been dying to hear from! 😀
Any of you have any tips/advice on how the interview day went? or know any of the stats on seats remaining??

I know that feeling...I just got the e-mail myself this morning!!! I've been calling everyone I know, shamelessly thanking my LOR's, and just freaking out in general. I can't wait to start!!!

Efitzger, we interviewed on the same date. I'm pretty sure it was you I was chatting with during the optional tour at the end of the day. Glad we both made it.

They requested a phone appt after reviewing my secondary.:scared::scared::scared:
What does that mean???
I would really appreciate if they offer me an interview.

Dunno man, but secondary almost always equals an interview; at least according to my understanding.

So after you submit your secondary, you get interview confirmation email?
Is that how it's usually done?
This feels wierd! At least I heard back..so I guess the phone appt thing is not a bad thing??
I would love to go to maryland!!:xf:
