What kind of final semester are you taking before heading off to DS?

You should add a column for people who already graduated and wont have a final semester, just a suggestion.
They can just answer according to their latest semester.

i wouldn't take hardcore science classes if i didn't have to, but being a chemistry major, i have no choice...
all upper level bio classes
22 credits...orgo II, biochem, micro, anatomy & physiology, psych, and english. And if I don't pass them all, I can't enroll in July!

Wow. Did Michigan say you have to do this? And how the hell did you fit all those classes and labs together?

I already had organic and other chem courses from my engineering degree. Michigan told me those were the classes I still needed. Lucky for me, my last two years in undergrad were 20+ credits, so I had proof I could handle the course load. Since they moved the start of D1 up to July, that eliminated the spring semester as a possibility for taking any pre-req's. Of course, they're asking me to take 30 credits in d-school per semester, so 22 is considered light to them...haha.
I planned out the past 3 years (and this semester) so that I would have all my hard science classes done and could take it easy for my last semester, and it worked out almost perfectly. If I COMPLETELY had my way, I'd have no science classes, but I have one, sigh 🙂. I worked hard for 3 and a half years. I'm taking this time off before grinding out dental school. Don't know why anyone would want it otherwise.
I had all the intentions of finally having an easy final semester but I have to retake molecular genetics and then I figured I may as well take biochem since I've been out of the chemistry game for like a year and a half now. But other than that I have it pretty good. A class on studying music through the ages, a one-weekend CSI class and I'm still waffling between taking a sociology of human illness class or not. frankly i'd rather take an easy laidback class that I find really interesting than sit around all day, which is just a personal preference. These will be my last non-science classes for a while if not forever. But I'm still jealous of my friends that have class only three days a week.
I will only have class Monday and Tuesday, and the Tuesday is just one class at night 🙂I had all the intentions of finally having an easy final semester but I have to retake molecular genetics and then I figured I may as well take biochem since I've been out of the chemistry game for like a year and a half now. Graduated this semester, so just going to work full time and take two classes on the side: Micro and A&P. Should be lighter but still challenging!

I have never managed to fit a schedule together where I don't have class M-F.
You're obviously not as cool as me 😎I have never managed to fit a schedule together where I don't have class M-F.
chillin....3 classes. One on Tuesday/Thursday and the other two are once a week on wednesday. no sciences (not a science major) and 2 of the classes are pass fail. the one for a grade is a writing requirement for graduation.
4 day weekends...well really 5 day weekend since Thursday is a weekend in college.
