7/18 Mailing Date AADSAS Status Updates

So I noticed a lot of people getting worried when they see others have gotten interviews/acceptances to schools when these other people had a much earlier mailing date!

I thought I would start up a thread for any updates for people with a 7/18 mailing date like I did! This way we have a better way to gauge where we really stand with people that mailed at the same time.

Feel free to start up threads for other mailings dates if you guys think this is a good idea!

I'll start off by saying my only real update is a BU AADSAS status saying they are reviewing my app.

these are the schools that have either updated aadsas or contacted me via email that my applications are under review. Has anyone received interviews yet? Most of this action has taken place in the last 3 days.

I was on this mailing batch and applied to 19 schools. No interviews or rejections yet.
 
I received an interview from Nova on August 1st..

Just waiting to hear from the other 9 schools that I applied to!
 
I've heard nothing yet in terms of interviews. I've gotten application confirmation emails and/or secondaries from all 15 schools I applied to, except for USC and UCLA (I hear UCLA is always late in the game). Still working on a few secondaries and hoping to get the last ones in by the end of this week. Then let the waiting begin... :/

Same, but I don't think I ever submitted the supplemental fee with the app. I believe its one of those schools that want you to pay when you submit right?

On the website, it says "...At the same time the AADSAS application is filed, applicants should send a check or money order in the amount of $85, payable to the University of Maryland."
 
Called USC and they basically said that they weren't even going to begin looking at stuff until classes start.

Thanks for the update on USC! I was beginning to wonder... but I guess we can expect to hear from them come late August (at the earliest), but more likely sometime in September. Hate this whole waiting process!!
 
Just got an interview email from Case. Its set for Oct 31. Belonging to this batch, i thought you guys might like to know.
Has anyone heard from louisville?

Congrats on the Case interview - that's awesome! We just needed to submit the fee, but no secondary correct?
 
Thanks, yeah it was just the fee. They ask you to bring a passport type photo to the interview.

Bit late on this..

My mailing date was 7/18, and I've gotten interviews from Nova, Midwestern-AZ, and NYU. No word from case as of now.
 
I applied to 8 schools:

NYU: nothing on AADSAS, just "received app." email :'(
Penn: Initial snail-mail
Temple: AADSAS update to Received/App complete, and secondary email yesterday
UF: App received email then AADSAS update to Received/Under Review
NOVA: nothing on AADSAS, just initial emails and INTERVIEW scheduled last week for 9/14
LECOM: Secondary complete, etc. Waiting for interview :'(
UofP: AADSAS update to Received/App complete
WesternU: Just finished course worksheet portion of secondary last week, no AADSAS updates.
 
I had Western, USC, Buffalo, Minn email me last week saying everything was in and going to review. Plus the usual schools on aadsas.
 
Case, LECOM, NYU interviews so far. No rejections, yet.

+ Penn interview
+Pitt interview

I called USC last week about my application and they said they haven't received any applications to begin reviewing yet until school starts.
 
Interviews for Midwestern AZ, Creighton, and BU so far and got UCLA's secondary earlier this week!

@ little Buddy: When exactly did you hear from USC and what did their email say?

It just said they received my app, talked about the review process and that interview start in October. We will be able to check our status on their portal early September. Just a generic email...
 
Hmm interesting... regardless that's a step in the right direction! Congrats 🙂 Hopefully I'll be hearing from them soon!
 
Thank you for submitting an application to Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. We have begun reviewing applications and are in the process of inviting candidates to interview during our fall months. Interview invitations will be sent through email.

Its been a super slow week for me as for interviews. Luckily school has started so I don't find myself on here as much. :laugh: I got to break the addiction.

Slow for me as well... I've gotten update emails from a number of schools, but no interview invites. Those emails are such psych-outs!! I'm jealous that you have started school, I'm on the quarter system so I have all the way until the end of September to constantly refresh SDN and my email hahaha

Same, I have been getting these "update" emails that break my heart upon opening my inbox.

Anyone hear from UoP or ASDOH yet? I noticed that a number of people on the huge interview/acceptance thread have gotten invites, but I think a lot of them are still from the first mailing batch... so just checking in!
