This is a good website that gives an overview of dental procedures, oral conditions, and cosmetic dentistry. I found it helpful to use before shadowing so you know what and why the dentist is doing what he is doing. Hope it helps:

Here is a link to the Army's website for those who might be interested in applying for a scholarship. They pay for 4 years of school and require a 4 year service after your army residency. The NY recruiter phoned me about this--if you want to contact her call (877-229-0413).

I built a website to help people become dentists. It answers 3 questions, 1) If you should become a dentist, 2) How you can become a dentist, 3) How you can be successful as a dentist?

I think the second section would be very helpful for pre-dental students. I also have pictures of my dental school. The link is in my signature so I won't post it twice. Thanks and good luck.
