Which DO schools have pretty campuses? Which DO schools are in the best cities/locations?

I know looks aren't everything, but a nice looking campus in a great city would be a plus. I wish Western looked better. I feel like that would be the only negative in attending there..having to look at a strip mall campus. Pomona isn't the greatest city either, but at least it's close to other nice/exciting cities.

Probably one of the florida schools.

I thought azcom and ccom looked nice but their locations were not ideal. Pcom looks about average but has a nice location. Dmu also looks average, but has a decent location if you like des monies. Kcumb looks ok and is in a shady area, but kansas city is cool.

What kinds of things are you looking for? Urban, rural, new buildings?

This thread should have pics!

(The reddish looking street is not a dirt road. LOL. It's a brick road from the olden days.)

Nova is probably the school which matches best to the word "paradise" but some people like something a little more rugged. I'm not a fan of hot weather either, so it would get old fast.

If you're talking about natural settings, I think UNECOM and LMU-DCOM are the best... Pics:

location wise? like most advantageous location? Probably going to be TouroCOM solely because of manhattan. But there are a few close contenders there.

Now if you're talking for beauty.... lord Touro is probably at the bottom of that barrel. Not a pretty school. Thats true for all three of them. Though some people like it more and some people like it less, its hard to compete with schools in sub-tropical florida or in some of the more lush hills of New England or the bible belt (come for the beautiful views, stay for the isolationist xenophobic culture that will not allow you to ever leave)

Yes its harsh. It's also a joke. Don't freak out, bible belt locals

LMU-DCOM is gorgeous (as somebody already pointed out), but its also in the middle of nowhere.....

Literally, one of the selling points the falculty hit us with is that there is nothing else to do but study 🙄.

That being said, I love outdoors stuff and I can't wait to go.

Hard to find aerials of VCOM, but here are some of Blacksburg and the VT campus.

Anyone have a good picture of WesternU-Pomona's campus?

let's just say that it's built out of an old mall... lol the new building is nice but other than that it's kind of weird looking, literally in between antique shops, the pics on their website are kind or deceiving, b.c it's only of the new building.

Got to admit that a lot of these "middle of nowhere" schools look awesome! Love the trees and green! I'm originally from Michigan but have been living in the desert of Utah for too long now. Kinda glad there's no DO option in southern Utah. I have to admit that the weather is nice and there is a lot to do in the outdoors but the dry and no green is getting old! That being said I kinda like the Lebanon, OR campus of western. I think I'll visit in a few weeks. I'll post pics if I do.

How do you all get skyview pictures of the schools? I want to see what DMU looks like from up higghh, in the skyyy.

PS - DMU might have some pretty boys (I'm not one of them), but judging the c/o 2016 so far we do have a variety of nerds. Chicks dig nerds, right?

I lived a few minutes from LMU when I was in grades 5-7 and it is really nice in an outdoorsy/ everything is green kind of way. But there is NOTHING else out there. Not a place for city folk.
NOVA is baller status. I honestly don't think I could've hacked it down there because I cannot stay indoors when it's sunny out and I would never get any studying done.

Wow! OU-HCOM looks so cozy and and exudes a classy intellectual collegiate vibe. Studying with Starbucks and Christmas coziness sounds great.Too bad they don't accept many out of staters.

NSU, hands down. I've been to both DO schools and all 7 MD schools in FL, and NSU has a better campus (library, building, housing, etc.) than any other in FL. I have a bias toward tropical weather too, so keep that in mind. It is really relative. If your idea of paradise is a tropical setting, than NSU should be at the top of your list.

The area around KCUMB is awful but the campus is nice

But yes the rest of the area is very "urban". If you are used to the city it really isn't that bad or different from any big city.

LMU-DCOM! I love eastern TN. 😍

And I don't know why people keep saying Nova. Broward county is one of the worst places I've ever been in Florida, and I've been all over this state during the nearly 22 years I've lived here.

I gotta say... LMU looks like an incredible vacation school if I had to choose one, ha. It looks like it's only one building though... not sure if that's good, bad, neither, or both.

Incredible view though. Dang.

Which Touro is that? Wow!

Looks like a boarding school to me.. I think I'd feel like I was in prison. Good thing I took LMU off my AACOMAS at the last minute!

Anyone go to (or familiar with) Touro NY? I saw that one picture of the "Touro College" sign above what looked like some drug stores across from the Apollo and I've got to say I was a little turned off. I mean, I like the big city environment, but can't they at least have their own building(s)? Is that picture just one of many buildings? Does Touro NY have its own campus?

Touro NY is in Harlem, which they gloss over as being a "vibrant" neighborhood in their catalog lol. I never looked as which stores were under the college lol but I guess that's how a lot of buildings are in older big cities (only been to D.C. & philly).

That big pic is TCOM, not Touro. TCOM is the Texas state school in Fort Worth.

LMU has a very nice campus. I checked it out few days ago. There are many other buildings beside the DO school. It is definitely rural, but Knoxville is not far away.
