Hello all, I know this question may have been asked, but I would like clarification. Do PT schools care about your last semester, undergrad grades? I will be attending Emory University in the summer and am sincerely struggling in 2 of my classes and may receive C's. These are the hardest classes in my major. I know I may come off a slacker but I would like this question answered to ease my mind. I have never received C's before, and have been fully accepted into Emory. Please let me know, thanks guys.

at least to my understanding, they don't care. Just make sure you get a C or above so you can a. graduate and b. not raise any flags. Once you are accepted into PT school you are pretty much "in" unless you raise some big flags like a D or F in a class. Otherwise you should be fine

most schools require you to get c's (no c-) or above. Some schools even want you to have nothing less than a B. You need to contact Emory and they will tell you. Getting accepted before you graduate undergrad by no means automatically assures your matriculation.

i don't think it matters as long as you pass and graduate because those classes are for your major and not PT school prerequisites

As long as you pass you're fine. Those classes are not prereqs. I got a d and several c's and am starting pt school in the fall. Genetics and evolution were rough!

I think it is best to call them. Every school runs differently.

One concern would be if the grades bring your pre-requisite or overall GPA (or whatever the school looks at) below their minimum. I agree with pubicsymphysis above, call the school and talk to them and find out what their policy is.

Ever since I got accepted in to the DPT school I wanted to go to I haven't looked at my PTCAS page but I just finished the last pre-requisite course for the school. I assume I still need to input the grade for that final pre-req course in PTCAS during the next Academic Update which I have no idea when that is. I assume the next AU will be later this month (May) but I don't know. I don't think I've gotten any email about the next AU date. Or I could probably just get the transcript from my school directly and cut the middle man (PTCAS) out since I know which DPT school I'll be going to and just give the transcript to that school. It should be quicker and easier than going through PTCAS.

Just FYI, Many schools require hard copies of the transcripts (IN ADDITION) to your verified PTCAS application, so they have them on record if they ever get audited.

Maybe I should make a new post about this issue.
