"Don't write anything before your first section" (I wasn't sure if the tutorial counted as the first section so I didn't draw out the 3x3 lines during my tutorial). However, I finished 45 minutes early on my sciences so I drew out the lines and tally chart. Use the tutorial and break to stretch and get comfortable with the setting.
This is how I studied for the DAT and I think it worked out pretty well. Start with the easy/basic material and work your way up.
Chad's GC/OC/QR (Videos, Outline, Quizzes) + Barron's AP BIO + Qvault BIO
DAT Destroyer GC/OC/BIO + Math Destroyer + Cliff's AP BIO + CDP Royal Flush (Videos 10 tests)
2007, 2009 ADA, Achiever
Many people discourage using Achiever; however, I strongly recommend doing all 7 tests. Don't worry about your scores, just focus on learning and expanding your knowledge of the material.
You need a well thought out plan for studying and have a score in mind. Mine was 24AA, 22A minimum. This will push you to study more and sacrifice other things like deactivating your facebook, stop watching movies, giving up Friday nights and weekends. Always take your first DAT like its your last, so you won't have to go through the painful process of studying again.
I just want to thank the other members for providing motivating breakdowns and advice on the study material.😀
