PA: 22 (93.4%)
QR: 24 (99.0%)
RC: 22 (84.4%)
Bio: 22 (95.9%)
GC: 26 (98.8%)
OC: 23 (94.4%)
TS: 23 (97.8%)
AA: 23 (98.7%)
I wanna thank you here on SDN, I have been reviewing all those threads in the past 3 months!!!! I wanna specially thank the guy who wrote the techniques to PAT section!
Here is how I studied:
Bio: I started to read Cliff AP since May but stopped after 2 weeks, I was taking Princeton Review MCAT at the same time so that pretty much covered Bio. But I did practice DAT destroyer Bio and I think it's helpful.
Gchem: I am always good at gchem, but destroyer just broke my heart, everytime i did 30 questions i got at least 10 wrong. But the real DAT was not even a fraction of that difficulty level 😛 I finished science section in like an hour
Ochem: I sucked at Ochem considering I took both Ochem in the summer 2 yrs ago. However, I practiced destroyer and got 15 wrong out of 30 almost everytime but I think DAT is much easier too!!!! Don't freak out even if you did bad on destroyer even close to the test date!!!! Kaplan blue book was what i used and destroyer
PAT: I wanna thank Sama951 who wrote this terrific thread in the past http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=528643 which raised my Crack Dat PAT score from 17 to 23 in two weeks, of course I practiced everyday! But it does help! Just be confident guys!!!!! Trust yourself you can do it!!!!
QR: I am always good at math so I didn't practice any but i would recommend to know the English measure system!!!!!
RC: My passages were pretty st8 forward, what I did was just read passages and wrote down "interesting" words of each passage. and follow the road map when i look at the question, it's pretty fast!
This test took me about 2 and a half month to prepare, and I spent about 6 hours a day. I saw many threads that people study 10+ hours a day, I can't, i got serious headache after i did that couple times. I sacrificed my Lady Gaga concert in Dallas which I had the ticket but didn't go 🙁
My undergrad science GPA is 3.7 and Overall it's a little over 3.6.
I am applying to NOVA, Florida State, UT-Houston, Baylor, UT san antonio, Boston, and Tufts. I think I am going to add UCSF now, anyone wants to go to UCSF or NOVA?!
Guys! Keep up the good work! DOn't stress out too much, when you prepare the test, let's concentrate on getting it right!!!! I will be happy to answer any other questions!
