Hello! I know this is an unusual thread but any advice would be great.

I graduated college last week with a 3.3 or 3.4 (all my grades have not been updated yet). I did very poorly in my first two years of premed courses so I dropped premed and my bio major and continued with my health admin and policy major. My sGPA is probably about a 2.8. I am determined to do what it takes to become a physician. I have wanted to pursue medicine for as long as a remember. However, I was immature and unprepared for the rigor of science classes. I have reflected on some of my mistakes (i.e. I tend to overload my self with responsibilities). I just want to ensure that I can work hard and get As if I am strategic in how I complete a DIY postbacc. So, moving forward, I would appreciate any advice one could give on how to succeed in biology, organic chemistry and biochemistry class? In other words, what resources are useful for someone who has not academically strong in the sciences? (By the way, I am a black female). Thank you!

Reach Chapter Before Lecture
Makes Flashcards of things you don't know 100% (which is likely most of what you read)
Read All chapters that will be on Exam a second time before Exam.

Also, ask questions when confused. Khan academy is best online resource.

Make EVERYTHING else in life a secondary priority.

This is what I did. It was worth it.

I audio recorded all my lectures. Sat in the front and had my phone on my desk set to voice record, listened to them again later to fill in anything i missed/reinforce stuff from the first time around.
