So, I've just completed my first DAT.

Here is the breakdown

20 Bio
19 Gen. Chem
18 Organic
19 RC
17 QR (ouch, I know...the questions were ridiculous...I mean come on!)

TS 19
AA 19
PAT 22

Overall 20.5

I was just wondering if these scores overall are good. My GPA overall is 3.57 with a 3.4 Science GPA. Also, does the score round up or is the decimal score an actual score?

Congrats! Nice solid scores and gpa, you should fine! Taking mine friday any last minute tips?

Well, all in all, with this test you can study for a long time but if you're not used to taking the test then you're probably going to get nervous and mess up. What you have to do is take as many--and I mean at least 10--practice tests while you are studying. I studied for this test for about 6 months, a little bit everyday, because I'm not much of a crammer. Again, this style worked for me and in the end i got a 22/19. Study the way you want to but make sure to do as many tests as you can.

Very good scores inconjunction with GPA, apply early and things will run smooth

Hey guys,

Regarding GPA, when they ask for your science GPA, are they referring to just the sciences that are required for the school as pre-reqs (e.g. Physic, bio, Chem and Orgo). Or for someone like me that has a B.S. in Biochem, do they want the cummulative of all my science courses from freshman year?

Science GPA encompasses Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Biochemistry is in the science category so it would be considered a science class. If you check out AADSAS it will give you details on the classes that meet the science GPA qualifications
